In this role, you will be accountable for managing compliance assessments, the coordination of audits, the identification of new regulatory requirements (together with other departments like compliance and legal), tracking and closing gaps, and compliance status reporting.
Your Job
- Lead a team of a highly qualified and motivated IT professionals to support the response coordination for internal/external audits globally
- Drive further development of the Global IT Compliance organization together with the Global Head of IT Compliance and the other IT leaders
- Effectively collaborate, communicate, educate and influence policy, process and control owners to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulatory and other compliance requirements globally
- Drive effective executive reporting on findings and the closure of gaps
- Organize the coordination of IT audits
- Maintain close alignment with IT Risk & Security and other organizational units
Your Profile
- Successful candidates will possess the following skills/capabilities:
- Relevant university degree (business administration, legal, information management or a comparable qualification)
- CISA/CIA or other related certification
- 10 or more years with experience conducting/responding to internal/external/regulatory audits and designing controls preferred. Experience in the financial services industry a plus
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to process, aggregate and summarize succinctly
- Strong people management and relationship building skills with experience developing and implementing strategic team goals. Experience coaching highly qualified employees across the organization and inspiring successful team performance preferred.
- Experience delivering direction and tone from the top, coaching, then equipping and empowering teams
- Experience influencing horizontally across multiple stakeholder groups
- Strong strategic, analytical and conceptual skills
- Ability to manage conflict
- High level of assertiveness
- Strong client focus as well as stakeholder identification and management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize appropriately
- High level of commitment
- Willingness to travel internationally
