We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Head of Learning & Development to lead our client’s training and development initiatives. This role is crucial in creating impactful training programs and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategise & Lead: Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
- Innovate Training Programs: Design and deliver a variety of Learning experiences, including e-learning, workshops, seminars, and on-the-job training.
- Inspire & Coach: Lead and manage a team of trainers, instructional designers, and coordinators, ensuring their professional growth.
- Measure Impact: Establish and analyse KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven improvements.
- Collaborate: Work closely with HR, department heads, and senior management to identify and address learning needs.
- Build Relationships: Develop partnerships with external training providers, consultants, and educational institutions.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in learning and development, incorporating new technologies and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: At least 2 years in a leadership role within learning and development, with a proven track record of successful training program design and delivery.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to assess training needs and measure program effectiveness.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CPLP, PHR, SPHR) are a plus.
