You will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the marketing department (currently 3 Executives plus agency partners) including the creation, design and implementation of all marketing plans, branding strategies and targeted campaigns in partnership with Managers, Senior Leaders (SLT) and Executive Leaders (ELT).
You will ultimately be looking to raise the profile of the organisation through the delivery of engaging content, across all relevant channels and across many programmes, always ensuring internal stakeholders are continually kept informed of progress/results.
This role is suited to an experienced marketing leader who is equally happy and competent being strategic as they are rolling their sleeves up to lead from the front.
Role Overview
- Day-to-day leadership and management of the marketing department, ensuring that all team deliverables and objectives are met.
- Responsible for the creation, design and implementation of all marketing plans, branding strategies and targeted campaigns
- To lead on data capture, reporting, analytics, and budget management
- To raise the profile of the organisation through the delivery of engaging content, across all relevant channels
- To be the lead guardian of the brand and the voice of the customer, ensuring all marketing activities are cause-led whilst delivering business objectives
- To ensure that all campaigns/projects/events are fully briefed and measurable and take ownership for the delivery of this including resource planning, reporting and budgeting.
- To lead by example and build a team of highly engaged, high performing marketeers.
- To play an active role in the Senior Leadership Team and act as a 'Challenger' on all aspects of delivery that do not align with the broader strategic direction/mission
Salary and benefits
- Salary = Negotiable £50k +
- Hybrid working - 1-2 days home working. You will be expected to spread your time across the Newark and Nottingham sites

About You
This opportunity would suit an established marketing leader who has a strong track record of managing marketing resources and developing and implementing results driven marketing strategies, campaigns and brand guardianship.
You will have experience of creating engaging, targeted content across various channels including social media and email. You will have the ability to take the lead on delivering a communications strategy and integrate communications with marketing objectives.
Candidates are considered from various industries, ideally with a B2C bias but previous exposure to charities/Not-For-Profit organisations would be a bonus.
