We are recruiting for a Head of Marketing and for this role you MUST be from a retail background in Marketing.

As the Head of Marketing the client will look at 1 day a week from home however this role is based in Leicester

About the Role:

As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to drive brand awareness, increase customer engagement, and maximise sales for our wide range of products. You will lead a talented team of Marketing professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of Marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance the company's market presence and achieve business objectives.

Lead a team of Marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand customer insights and market trends, ensuring marketing efforts are customer-focused and drive results.

Oversee the planning and implementation of all marketing campaigns, including traditional and digital channels, to effectively promote the company's products and services.

Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics, using data and insights to optimise campaigns and drive continuous improvement.

Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximise return on investment.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practises to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.

Drive a culture of creativity, collaboration, and high performance within the marketing team.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a senior marketing professional, with a track record of successfully leading marketing teams and delivering results in the retail industry.

Strong strategic mindset and the ability to develop and execute effective marketing plans.

In-depth knowledge of Marketing principles and best practises, including traditional and digital marketing channels.

Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to extract insights from data and drive data-driven decisions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
