Head of Operations– The Role:

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Operations to lead their manufacturing operations in Leeds. As the Head of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, optimising processes, and ensuring the efficient production of their educational products. Head of Operations– Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimise manufacturing processes and improve efficiency

- Lead and manage the manufacturing team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve production targets and quality standards

- Oversee production scheduling, resource allocation, and inventory management to meet customer demand and minimise lead times

- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and streamline operations

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and logistics, to ensure alignment and integration of Operations with overall business objectives

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and drive operational performance

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices

- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to optimise procurement processes and maintain supply chain efficiency

Head of Operations– You:

- Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, engineering, or related field

- Master's degree preferred

- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing environment

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence

- Demonstrated track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and inventory control

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functional teams

- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving operational targets and business objectives
