Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the development and execution of the business strategy, aligning the work and outcomes across the department to deliver against strategic goals.
- Transforming the business to provide efficient and cost-effective services that deliver enhanced client value and experience that are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluating performance and effectiveness of the teams and identify and implement improvements to achieve productivity enhancements through increased business effectiveness whilst keeping our clients and their customers front and centre.
- Working with relevant support teams and functions in the delivery of process, policy, risk, and governance frameworks.
- Acting as a trusted colleague and leader through provision of strategic advice, decision support, and ensuring governance arrangements are maintained and adhered to.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
You will:
- Have experience of leading a large operational team(s) driving a culture of continuous improvement within a customer outcome focused business. Prior experience leading Credit Management, Debt Recovery or Litigation teams and processes either in-house or for a third-party agency is advantageous.
- Have significant knowledge and understanding supporting Customers dealing with debt, with experience of SRA, FCA and/or OFGEM regulatory environment.
- Have a proven track record of developing and running regulated processes.
- Demonstrate your considerable experience of successfully leading and driving change programs.
- Be a strong leader with a natural ability to inspire and develop colleagues, creating motivated, high-performing teams with stretching goals.
- Have proven ability to drive digitalization and transformation across end-to-end processes.
- Have gravitas with superb influencing skills and experience of engaging with Executive and Senior Managers
- Have an enabling manner as you collaborate and network across the business, establishing strong links with key business areas as well as external partners.
