Job Description
Head of Operations responsibility:
- Oversee daily operations within the Logistics department.
- Streamline business processes to maximise efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment.
- Manage relationships with key operations stakeholders and customers.
- Track operational metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
- Ensure all operations adhere to laws and regulations.
- Drive initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
The Successful Applicant
Head of Operations will have experience in:
- Proven experience in an operations management role within the retail industry.
- Demonstrate success within logistics distribution and supply chain
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent understanding of operational processes.
- Proven knowledge of the supply chain.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making.
- Comfortable engaging with customers to demonstrate the operational capability.
