I am currently working with a leading online marketplace on a mission to empower consumers to make confident decisions. They have the power to reach millions of consumers and the technology to deliver a world-class online experience for them. Due to growth, they are looking for a Head of Performance Marketing to join the team, reporting to the CMO.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Performance Marketing, running a £20m+ pa budget with a focus on profitable growth. Channels include, but are not limited to, paid search, paid social, affiliates and VOD
- Act as the central point of contact for Performance Marketing strategy and results across the group, managing relationships with key stakeholders and proactively identifying opportunities to develop greater sophistication
- Foster a high performance culture in the Performance Marketing team, developing rhythms and rituals that ensure operational rigour and continuous improvement
- Partner with brand and CRM teams to develop a core audience strategy, exploring/executing plans that improve acquisition and reacquisition activity through the use of 1st party data and audience insights
- Partner with the SEO team to develop a combined search engine strategy that maximises efficiency across both paid and organic search
- Partner with analysts to develop and maintain a robust attribution methodology in order to deliver incremental business value through cross-channel testing
- Manage relationships with partners, such as Google and Microsoft, setting our agenda and leveraging joint business plans to full effect
- Collaborate with the data/platform engineers to identify and develop data pipelines, integrations, data stores and tooling, ensuring relevant data is available in a timely manner to fuel bidding optimisation
What you’ll bring to the role
- Demonstrable experience in delivering business growth through Performance Marketing channels
- The ability to balance daily rigour with strategic direction, clearly articulating results and plans to all levels of the business
- Proven leadership skills, fostering a high performance culture
- A great communicator with honed influencing skills
- A passion for connecting technology and data to fuel targeted experiences
- Experience working in a multi-product, multi-brand environment would be advantageous
