Our client is a multi-disciplined consultancy providing a wide range of Asset Management, Engineering and Commercial services to clients across the water, energy, and environment sectors. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of PMO to join their dynamic team and support their clients within the water industry and beyond. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing portfolio, programme, and project delivery, ensuring strategic alignment with client requirements, and driving excellence in all they do.
Role Description
This is an outward facing role, and one which will offer PMO services to clients. There will be specific responsibilities for leading the Project Controls Team, including Scheduling, Cost Management and Risk Management, as well as a Performance and Reporting function.
Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the PMO strategy aligned with overall business objectives and client needs.
• Establish and enforce PMO policies, standards, and procedures.
• Lead the Performance and Reporting function, driving the development and implementation of effective performance measurement frameworks.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations.

Skills/Qualifications Required

• Degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Project Management, Business etc.) or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of PMO methodologies, tools, and best practices (ideally P6 and MSP)
• Ability to navigate complex projects in the water, energy, and/or environment sectors.
• Proven experience in project management within the water industry, with a focus on consultancy services is desired but not essential.
