About the role
Certsure is seeking an experienced Head of Product Development to fortify its portfolio of education and training products. This pivotal role involves spearheading the development and enhancement of both existing and new offerings, collaborating closely with the training delivery team to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
As the Head of Product Development, you will have ownership of the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to market launch, with a keen focus on identifying market opportunities and scaling propositions across all product categories. Managing the budget for Product Development, you will ensure timely delivery within the scope and budget, and tracking performance against forecasted outcomes will be among your key responsibilities.
In this role, you will lead the development of new products and services by leveraging customer data and market insights, ensuring commercial success through trials and feedback iterations. You will also create a strategic roadmap for profitable learning interventions while conducting market analysis to inform business proposals. Collaborating with technical teams, you will ensure compliance with Certsure’s standards.

As part of the operational leadership team, you will implement strategic initiatives, manage budgets and drive process improvements to enhance Certsure’s success.
You will also lead a team of Learning and Product Development subject matter experts, fostering cross-functional collaboration with technical colleagues, delivery teams, and business development to drive innovation and excellence in product offerings. Additionally, as a member of the operational leadership team, you will collaborate operationally across the organisation, contributing to strategic initiatives and ensuring alignment with Certsure’s overarching goals.
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a degree or equivalent experience in education or training. They should demonstrate a strong commitment to Continuing Professional Development and hold full membership in a relevant professional body.
Experience in Product Development is essential, including collaboration with technical experts and delivery teams to develop education and training products. A deep understanding of learning design principles is crucial, along with a customer-centric approach to translating needs into requirements.
You will demonstrate strong communication skills to deliver complex information to both end users and internal stakeholders. The ability to sell the product vision effectively, from end-users to senior management, is vital.
Collaboration across all areas of the business is expected, along with strong negotiation and persuasion skills to lead multiple projects within a matrix environment.
