NetworkHR have partnered exclusively with a market leading financial services firm to lead on the search for a Head of Recruitment to join their established, close-knit team. As the Head of Recruitment, you will be responsible for evolving and driving the direct sourcing team whilst reporting into a fantastic HR Director. Whilst this role has a priority of driving the direct sourcing effectiveness of the team, there is also an expectation of driving more progressive recruitment initiatives such as considering AI possibilities, investing in new 3rd party relationships to augment services, how to enable ED&I ambitions, and how recruitment dovetails with learning and development. The ideal Head of Recruitment will need to act as a proper “decision maker” and strike a balance with escalating issues. Some of the current technical challenges and “judgment calls” includes visa issues, role benchmarking, employment contract specifics, package negotiations etc.
Other responsibilities across HR will include:
- Working hand in hand with stakeholders to deliver a high-quality recruitment service
- Accountable for the accuracy/processes of the ATS
- Developing relationships with Hiring Managers and client stakeholders including HR to ensure a high level of customer service. Including advising of Recruitment and selection strategy and engaging in resource-planning meetings
- Customer-centric approach in attitude and output
- Experience of managing a team
- Experience working in a financial or professional services environment (insurance would be desirable)
- Network, influence and collaborate effectively at an operational and senior level externally
- A proven track record in improving performance of direct sourcing through team management.
- Proven commercial acumen
