Eastern Airways is one of Europe’s most experienced charter and scheduled service operators. Their customers include major international energy, aerospace and automotive companies.
The airline is number one in Europe for providing charter flights for sports teams. Clients include many Premier League and Championship football, Rugby Union and Super League teams. Absolute discretion is ensured with many high-profile corporate, private, and music industry clients.
The Head of Safety will lead the development, implementation and oversight of the Safety Management system (SMS) in strict compliance with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) guidelines.
This role requires a seasoned aviation safety professional with extensive knowledge of CAA regulations and a proven track record in safety leadership within the aviation industry.
On offer is a permanent contract with Mon–Fri 09:00–17:30 working hours.

Role Requirements:
- Right to live and work in the UK
- Airline Operations experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Safety, Safety Management or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role within aviation safety.
- Certification in aviation safety or a related field is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of CAA regulations and industry best practices in safety management and SMS.
- Strong analytical, communication and organization skills.
- Previous Form 4 holder
