Form of workJoin a small specialist design safety and compliance business as the Head of a newly developed service line leading their Building Safety team. This is a role centred around technical delivery, working closely in accordance with the Building Safety Act, Building Regulations, Building Act, Approved Documents and RICS professional Standards. The focus is the technical side, but ideally our client is looking for a commercial minded leader to come in at Director level who can develop this service line, utilising existing client base and expanding the businesses dealings in Building Control and the BR/PD role.
This role would be ideal for a building specialist from a Building Control, Design Management, or a Structural Engineering background. In this role as you will lead the Building Regulations assessment and provide expert consultation services in order to sign off from the Building Safety Regulator. A major focus of this project work will be tall buildings and high-rise residential works.
This is a newly developed role within a well-established business with an excellent working culture and a team of genuinely great staff.
