We are looking for Head of Services to join us at our client site in Gatwick.?Be a part of UK's second busiest international airport.

Your role as a Head of Service, you will be the senior manager on site and accountable for the overall performance of the Gatwick assisted services contract and the c450 team members working on site. They will work with the Strategic Account Director to deliver the strategic vision for the contract and ensure a continuous improvement methodology is embedded into the daily operation.

As well as ensuring the financial success of the contract, the Head of Services position will lead and empower their team to achieve the highest standards in passenger care whilst ensuing senior collaboration with airlines and stakeholders. The Head of Services will also need to ensure excellence in all areas of Wilson James performance including but not limited to contract commercials, safety, and employee engagement.

Pay: £70,000-£75,000 annual salary.

A typical day in the life as Head of Services at Gatwick Airport:

• To be accountable for all Special Assistance activities across the airport.
• Ensure that we are compliant with all elements of relevant legislation and ensure compliance with ECAC and Service Level Agreements' (SLA)/Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as agreed with our customer and amended from time to time.
• Set objectives and manage the team as appropriate.
• Accountable for the budget and to hold internal budget holders to agreed targets.
• Report directly to the Strategic Account Director assisting with the managing and monitoring of the contract's financial performance.
• Work closely with the Strategic Account Director to implement plans to continually innovate and develop the contract.
• Represent the company externally e.g. at networking events, conferences, and exhibitions to enhance and strengthen the company's profile and optimise all business development opportunities.

• Experiencing of managing change and directing teams of people to perform against specific targets.
• Strong people management and communication skills
• Proficient in MS word/excel/power-point.
• Able to excel within a pressured environment ensuring standards are adhered to.
• Proactive and excellent problem-solving ability.
• Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure.
• An understanding of the principles of equality and diversity in relation to visitors' needs.

Desirable

• Experience in Aviation Special Assistance Management
• Change management experience.
• Educated to degree level.
