This post is a key senior manager role within the Education & Skills Division of the Children and Young People Directorate. We are looking for an experienced leader who can take forwards our exciting programme of transformation of Services for children and young people with SEND.

You will be an expert in Special Educational Needs and Disability, with an extensive knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and co-producing with partners. You will have a proven track record of successfully leading change and improving performance, both within an organisation and as a system leader.

We have a strong senior leadership team who keep close to the front-line and who will support you every step of the way. With a wealth of experience in children's services, you will understand the challenges that come with this role - but with proven leadership skills, you will also know how to meet them.
