This highly decorated Manchester based Consumer PR & Social Agency is looking for a Head of Social Media to lead their existing team and grow their social media offering. You will work across a mix of big brand consumer hospitality, food and drink, retail and FMCG clients.
The role will take responsibility for the delivery of the work programme for the social media team, and proactively make suggestions to enhance accounts and the agency.
Experience overview
- High level client counsel.
- Strategic communications ability.
- Track record in delivering innovative and creative client programmes.
- Has high levels of awareness and competence across all communication platforms - traditional and digital - to ensure that campaigns and plans utilise the correct channel mix and vehicles to reach target audiences and influencers.
- Knowledge of the wider social, political and economic landscape and its implications for each client is demonstrated when providing counsel.
- Ability to secure both organic and new client business.
- Promotes a supportive and collegiate team environment.
- Experience working on large, high value consumer client campaigns and brands.
- Leads and directs client contact by team members and ensures that all work carried out and submitted to clients is of the highest possible standard.
- Fully understands the content of client contracts and their specific implications on day-to-day work such as scopes of work, renewal dates, penalties and confidentiality agreements etc.
