Charity People are delighted to be working with an ambitious children's hospital charity to help bring on board a Head of Impact.
The charity is well known and well loved, raising money to help seriously ill children across the UK and beyond. Every day, more than 600 children and young people arrive at the hospital; doctors and nurses work on the most complex illnesses, and staff achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs. You will see daily how money raised helps to provide extraordinary care giving children and young people the best chance to fulfil their potential.
The role:
The Head of Impact , is a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover role, that offers a senior opportunity to lead impact evaluation at this leading health charity. This role involves embedding evidence from grant funding outcomes into decision-making and communications. The position oversees a range of functions including impact monitoring and evaluation, research, grant communications, and advocacy, supporting the charity's strategic objectives.
About You
You will be an experienced impact, monitoring or evaluation professional with experience in the charity or health sector. You will be a respected and trusted senior adviser with the ability to help guide teams and leaders in developing and implementing new strategies, processes and ways of working to improve impact reporting and data collection. Experience of line managing and leading an effective and motivated team. Good understanding of long-term outcomes and impact of research. Self-motivated, pro-active and solutions focused, with ability to work on own initiatives and to make decisions and provide recommendations.
