Your new role
In the role of the Head of Supply Chain, you will be in charge of overseeing the end-to-end process from sourcing and procurement, through to planning and management of inventory and finally, the distribution to key clients on a global scale. The Head of Supply Chain will build and maintain strong relationships with existing stakeholders and be responsible for sourcing new partnerships. You will need an excellent understanding of relevant software used within the Supply Chain process. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be heavily based around problem-solving, ensuring operations are running smoothly and installing motivation throughout the team. You will be expected to implement strategies to minimise lead - time between actions and improve Supply Chain functions. Accuracy, attention to detail, and punctuality are imperative in this role in order to meet deadlines and other time-sensitive targets.
What you need to succeed
To succeed in the role of Head of Supply Chain, you will need to demonstrate your ability to lead and manage a team and show effective communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates will need excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills. You will need to be a confident character, an independent thinker and possess a 'can do' attitude and challenge conventional thoughts. Personal integrity and accountability are needed in this position.
What you get in return
You will be entitled to a salary of up to £80,000 p/a as well as monthly, target-led bonuses. You shall receive 25 days holiday + bank holidays annually, as well as private health insurance and a bonus of up to 10%.
