About Our Client
My client are a privately owned food manufacturer with multiple sites across the UK & Europe; they are looking for a new senior leader to head up their technical team being based from their East Midlands site. They supply all the major UK retailers with their products and are renowned for their attention to detail, high quality and excellent supply chain.
Job Description
- Play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety and efficiency of the production process
- Manage a team focusing on both customer and factory technical standards
- Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure that products meet regulatory standards and internal specifications
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any deviations from quality standards
- Be up to date on food safety regulations
- Work closely with regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with commercial, NPD, production and R&D teams to optimise manufacturing processes
- Lead and manage a team of Technical and quality assurance professionals
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives
The Successful Applicant
- You will be within the FMCG industry and be working for a manufacturer who supplies into the UK retail market ideally grocery channel
- We are looking for established leaders who are comfortable reporting to Board level and managing/upskilling/recruiting team members
- We need candidates how have focused on the technical aspect of both customers and factories
- Candidates will be based out of the HQ in the East Midlands
- Must be comfortable client facing
