We recently secured a major contract with one of the UK’s most trusted financial service providers to support their 25 million customers. We will be delivering end-to-end customer journey support, from opening accounts to managing queries and closing accounts, ensuring the best possible customer experience.
As the Head of Technology Solutions, you will own and deliver large-scale, high-value, and sophisticated services to meet Sopra Steria’s cost, risk, quality, and service performance targets. You will proactively oversee service delivery to enhance business performance, efficiency, account profitability, sustainability, and growth.

What you'll be doing:
- Serve as the technology “go-to person” with an ambitious and customer-centric attitude.
- Provide inspirational leadership across the IT function, developing a hard-working team.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and competitor landscapes to advise strategic decisions.
- Define and develop the technology roadmap to enhance customer and colleague experiences.
- Evaluate and implement digital tools and platforms to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Contribute to the delivery of a customer-centric operating model within budget and timescale.
- Support business development activities by shaping services and creating cases.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience working within a regulated environment such as Financial Services.
- Ambitious mentality with a can-do demeanor.
- Deep understanding of technologies used in operational areas, including contact centers and back office.
- Strong leadership ability to build and deliver on strategies, and work with senior collaborators.
- Exceptional personal, listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to engage, communicate, and influence others, balancing collaborator/client/customer and business needs.
It would be great if you had:
- Delivery/Project management experience, including Lean and Six Sigma practices.
- Superior critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Customer Experience Management (CXM & XLAs).
