HSBC Insurance, UK are responsible for the manufacturing, sourcing and supply of insurance products and services for HSBC UK, first direct, M&S Bank and Commercial Banking, with external distribution for several product lines under the HSBC brand.
As the Head of UK Products, you will report into the Chief Executive Officer, HSBC Insurance. You will be accountable for all Product sourcing, oversight, and maintenance. You will own the Customer experience which is paramount in ensuring good customer outcomes whilst working closely with all our 3rd parties to ensure we deliver this consistently. You will engage with stakeholders to initiate, drive and manage the insurance agenda for delivery of sustainable new business growth through internal and external distribution channels, alongside management and retention of the extant book of business.

In this role you will:
• Ensure full regulatory compliance of products, process and distribution support including Solvency II, Consumer Duty, and IDD.
• Inspire, coach, and develop drive to achieve a committed, enthusiastic, high performing team through a complex matrix management.
• Develop a world class manufacturing capability in Wealth for the UK and to drive the global approach to protection.
• Manage all TPEM roles and activities for Product working with 3rd parties.
• Contribute fully as a member of the UK EXCO team and support Global Insurance Product team.
