The Role in a Nutshell
Accountable for accelerating the Business Transformation through defining and shaping the end state for key business processes, platforms and operations for service.
Practical experience in Agile methodologies, particularly in the role of a Product Owner and working in, for or around high-performing service teams/operations.
Experience in these environments and the drivers of performance are critical.

About this Role
Accountable for accelerating the Business Transformation through defining and shaping the end state for key business processes, platforms and operations for service.
The end state will create a simplified, modern, digital-first organisation and this role is key in delivering a simplified organisation (people, systems, process).
As the business transforms its service journeys and processes this role is the voice of Service and aligns the aspirations of the service teams with digital design and delivery.
Accountable for the overall investment business case and managing a suite of OKRs that align everyone behind the same ambition.
Skills & Experience Required
- Practical experience in Agile methodologies, particularly in the role of a Product Owner
- Working in, for or around high-performing service teams/operations.
Experience in these environments and the drivers of performance are critical - Strong and demonstrable track record of providing thought leadership in transformation and solving complex business problems
- Ability to create compelling end-state visions, with cross-functional business buy-in and supported by a set of OKRs
- Ability to create a business case for end-state vision, using ambiguous data sets and hypothesis-driven resolutions finding
- Transformative change management: ability to manage, assess impact of and deliver large-scale change in complex, matrixed environments
- Stakeholder influencing & management - Ability to influence change across multiple stakeholders at Director and MD level, inspiring on realising the future state of the organisation and managing the complexity of the stakeholders
- Managing through a matrix of virtual delivery teams/mechanisms to deliver strategic outcomes
- Business Analysis, Business Architecture and Business Process Design expertise
You'll have the following Responsibilities
Defining the end-state
With key stakeholders define the end state vision and define the OKR's and KPI's
Ensuring the end state is understood by tribe/programme delivery teams
Leading on the planning of the program vision and refining the backlog to achieve the end-state vision
Business case definition
Creating and iterating the business case for the Value Stream, defining and prioritising the scope of work of the Tribes integrating customer journey and product
Tracking financial and commercial benefits to the Tribe/programme outcomes.
Supporting the delivery team in delivering value and ensuring the business case benefits and other KPI's are unlocked and realised
Program Incremental Planning
Shaping and prioritising the outcomes for Tribes to realise the end state
Working in conjunction with the Tribe lead to define and implement the programme structure and delivery expectations across Product Owners
Program Incremental Planning and co-ordinating for alignment across Tribes.
Refining the backlog to align with the delivery of the end state vision and charting out the roadmap.
Ensure the backlog is understood across Tribe PO's and continually map the programme objectives for future planning
Facilitating sprint planning, providing guidance and direction in respect of priorities and other areas of clarity where required
Execution
Building, updating and maintaining the backlogs with updates from stakeholders and teams.
Prioritising backlog ensuring dependencies are understood across the delivery PO's.
Assuring alignment against the overall roadmap
Providing guidance and direction to Product Owners to facilitate the scope of the programme/product & delivery to the customer.
Ensuring viable product delivery that meets the customer's needs
Working with the Tribes to flush out each story and outlining acceptance criteria and acceptance tests.
When outcomes are delivered ensure they meet the Definition of Done and delivered to quality
Business Readiness
Working with the business area and wider Transformation team to ensure change plans are in place for the business area to adopt the changes.
This is done in collaboration with the change practice
