The role
As the Head of Training Services Transformation, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary and pivotal to the development and creation of a new centralised function within the training business unit.
Day to day, you'll lead the transformation of the Training Business Unit through the development of new core services under the Training Services department. Identify core services to sit within the remit of Training Services, design the end solution state (in conjunction with the contract / delivery teams), and drive forward the transformation activities required to achieve the end goal.
- Develop and implement a transformation roadmap to deliver the key objectives of Training Services and wider business unit.
- Work to develop core services within the remit of the Training Services department.
- Oversee project activity to ensure transformation activities are delivered to agreed outputs and timelines.
- Analyse business requirements to identify opportunities to deliver value and increase service provision.
- Partner with contract and department leads across the business unit and company to implement transformation activity.
This role is full time, 40 hours based in South England - Portsmouth, Bristol and London.
Essential experience of the Head of Training Services Transformation:
- Experience leading and managing complex change.
- A detailed understanding of Training delivery
- Experience within the defence sector, ideally Army
- Experience in the development and implementation of business solutions to support and enhance programme delivery.
