As our Head of Professional Development and Demand you will be at the forefront of transforming how we develop our teams and deliver our services across the business. This is a new and critical role where you will be responsible for the Centre of Excellence for developing teams within our Tax and VAT advisory services and insurance product, defining the frameworks, tools and standards required to deliver high quality services, In addition, you will have responsibility for a team of Workforce planners and Demand specialists who will ensure teams are adequately resourced, allocate work and provide reporting.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Responsible for creating a Centre of Excellence and ensure all team members understand their roles, pathways, and work to a consistent set of standards.
- Design, build and mobilise a 1st Line delivery approach for all Tax and VAT advisory services with Graduate level teams covering training, development, quality controls, reviews, and reporting.
- Drive a culture of collaboration and efficiency through team interactions and maximising the use of available tools and data.
- Develop, monitor and report on KPIs to demonstrate the team's impact on the service delivery and objectives.
- Manage the centre of excellence that attracts the top talent providing an environment where the team support each other and advance their careers.
- A change agent, challenging the status quo and delivering industry best in class standards.
- Deliver supported career development through effective Planning and organisation of recognised qualifications and in house training.
- Oversee the management of resources efficiently to ensure optimal utilisation and effective workflow.
- Lead on data analytics to measure performance and productivity, providing regular reports to the Leadership team.
