New Malden are due to embark on an exciting refurb and expansion of the practice in the next 9 months. They are currently at planning stages and looking for an experienced Head Nurse who can lead the nursing team and help them to transition smoothly into this new and exciting phase of the business.
This is a full-time role, offering flexible weekend / evening rota allowing for a good work life balance. We are offering a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 dependent on experience.
We are actively seeking an experienced Head Nurse who has previous experience managing nursing teams and who enjoys coaching and mentoring other nurses. There is a lot of work to do for the refurb and expansion with the JVP wanting to obtain PSS and cat friendly accreditation. We are seeking an RVN who will enjoy the challenge of implementing appropriate protocols and getting this achieved. This is an incredibly exciting time for the business, and we are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic person to help move the business into a new phase.
You will be supporting and working alongside our current team of 4 vets (one with a certificate in small animal medicine) and 4 nurses plus our fantastic practice manager and front of house team and the team will continue to grow as we recruit for the expansion. At New Malden, as well as cats, dogs and rabbits we also see a variety of exotic cases with one of our vets studying a certificate in exotic animal medicine.
We are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude, who is a strong leader that can take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations in the practice and who is keen to deliver clinical excellence.
