We're delighted to be working with one of the UK's largest transportation hubs for the aviation industry as they are looking to bring onboard a new Health and Safety Advisor, which would focus on the entire commercial/mixed-use real estate to the site, as well as crossover with other business units, such as aerodrome, engineering, and customer operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a unique area to continue the development of their Health and Safety journey.

Responsibilities for the Health and Safety Advisor will include:

• Supporting the implementation of the Health and Safety strategy across the business.
• Develop and lead new initiatives in order to reach the Health and Safety goals of different business units.
• Continual management and improvements of ISO-accreditation 45001, as well as auditing and improving where necessary, relative to outcome
• Acting as one of the points of contact with key stakeholders and communicating new ideas across a range of business units.
• Ensuring the delivery of the Health and Safety policy, and compliance with legislation and regulations across a variety of different areas.

The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have:

• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within aerodrome/aviation, facilities management, property, or related field, with expertise in Health and Safety compliance and delivering these different objectives.
• NEHOSH diploma (equivalent) and relevant IOSH membership
• Excellent communications skills with proven experience engaging a range of stakeholders.
• A strong technical knowledge of implementing / managing ISO system 45001.
