We are working with an established food manufacturing company based in Tredegar. They are recruiting for a Health and Safety Co-ordinator to join their team on Days (Mon-Fri) in return for a salary in the region of GBP32,000 along with overtime opportunity and additional training and development.

The Health and Safety Co-ordinator needs to possess a strong background in providing H&S advice and support in a manufacturing background. The role will involve working alongside various departments to ensure H&S

Key Responsibilities include:

• Reporting directly to the HSE Manager
• Provide advice to manage H&S across 2 local sites
• Advising Management
• Create and further develop risk assessments
• Be active in both internal and external safety meetings
• Provide H&S administrative duties for the HSE Manager

Qualifications & Experience required:

• NEBOSH General Certificate (Desirable)
• NVQ level 3 in Health and Safety with a minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
