We are working with a successfulbuilding contractor in NI who have a busy order book with projects running 5+years from now.

Due to their success and development inthe industry, the company is now seeking to employ, an industry experiencedHealth & Safety Manager to join the team on a permanent basis, working on aflagship project for Northern Ireland valued at well over £100m. They also havemultiple other Belfast and NI sites, of which the successful candidate will beinvolved in as well.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience and beNEBOSH qualified.
This is a multi-site-based role and successful candidate will make their ownschedule.

Reporting to the Health & Safety Director,responsibilities to include:

• Carrying out site inspections / audits with photographic evidence and documented report
• Ensuring that all Health and Safety procedures are being adhered to
• Issuing H&S Templates to the internal team
• Monitor and report on site Accidents and incidents and report through internal procedures
• Support and advise on H&S Management and compliance
• Work with department managers to implement a H&S culture
• Promote a proactive H&S approach/attitude among employees and site staff
• Support the Managing Director in developing / improving a healthy Health & Safety culture.

Experience Required:

• NEBOSH or IOSH qualified
• CSCS holder
• Degree Qualified
• Previous Construction Contractor experience is desirable
• Direct experience of working on site or supporting project related Health & Safety
• Experience of residential construction projects would also be preferable.
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Commercial Awareness
• I.T. literate
• Ability to write clear concise reports
