As Health and Safety Manager, you will drive a culture of a safe working environment and be responsible for health and safety standards throughout all divisions of the business. Duties will include:

• · Develop, implement, and manage health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, ISO standards and industry best practices.
• · Prepare and conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• · Provide guidance and support to employees and management on safety-related matters, including training programs, hazard communication, and emergency response procedures.
• · Investigate and report on workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses
• · Maintain safety records and documentation
• · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and drive continuous improvement
• · Stay up-to-date with changes in health and safety regulations and industry trends

Criteria:

• At least three years’ experience in a health and safety role where you have had responsibility for some, and ideally all, of the above.
• NEBOSH qualified is essential
• Academic qualification in relevant discipline
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Be able to positively engage coach the wider teams towards a culture of safety
• Proficient in MS Office packages
