Sheffield- with some site travel across the UK
£350 per day (outside IR35)
Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a specialist technology organisation who work closely across the Energy Sector. The organisation is looking to bring on board an experienced Health & Safety Manager to assist them with their business compliance, whilst also maintaining a site presence to promote a positive Health and Safety culture.
Responsibilities of the Health & Safety Manager will include:

• Partnering with heads of departments to ensure projects are compliant with company procedures and processes
• Ensure that the organisation's RAMs, and other Health and Safety documents are up to date and suitable for relevant projects
• Undertaking audits and inspections, reporting on the findings, and making recommendations for improvements
• Being a central point of contact for Health and Safety across the organisation and for the company's clients

The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:

• Proven Health and Safety experince within the Energy / Power generation sector, Construction or other related industry
• A NEBOSH or NCRQ Certificate and ideally GradIOSH status and experience.
• Effective communication skills - both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with a range of clients and stakeholders
• A positive and pragmatic attitude to problem solving within Health and Safety.
