GTC, who are part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for a SHEQ Advisor who would like to help us reach our mission of ‘making lasting connections with our customers to improve their lives’.

As the SHEQ Advisor your key responsibilities are

• Working with managers and employees to promotes a culture of safe working practices across the Group.
• Provide coaching and development to effectively influence, promote the importance of and continually improve BUUK safety culture through Work Safe ¦ Home Safe and overall, SHE performance across the group business.
• Collate, investigate, ensure effective closure and report upon incidents, hazards, near misses and SHE non-conformances raised from safety incidents and audit findings
• Undertake construction team site visits
• Completion of premise safety audits and inspections
• Keep up to date with new legislation and any developments that may affect BUUK.

About you

• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
• Good knowledge and understanding of all aspects of Safety, Health and Environmental requirements and related Legislation
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to produce reports, presentations and other written material to a high standard and tailored to different audiences
