Health And Safety Officer

This role will require you to develop and implement Health and Safety policies and procedures in line with local, state and federal regulations. You will work with a well-established business and be a key member of the UK wide Health and Safety Group.

Description

• Develop and implement Health and Safety policies and procedures in line with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
• Provide comprehensive safety training to employees, covering emergency procedures and proper equipment usage.
• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, compiling detailed reports with recommendations for prevention.
• Maintain accurate records of all safety inspections and incidents.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness through workshops and communication materials.

Profile

• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate record
• Previous experience in a Health and Safety role is advantageous.
• Familiarity with conducting risk assessments and developing safety procedures.
• Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment and promoting safety awareness.
• Proactive approach to staying updated on industry safety standards and regulations.
