Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing quality care and support to patients in healthcare settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Duties:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Support clients with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Monitor client vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate client records and assist in updating care plans
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist/support in feeding clients if necessary
- Help in the implementation of individual care plans
- Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to drive or commute to different healthcare settings, including home care or care homes
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with care plans and patient documentation
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes

Pay: From £11.45 per hour
