Position Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Community Carers in and around the Maidstone, Kent area. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely cares about making a positive impact in the lives of others, particularly the elderly and individuals with disabilities who require assistance with their daily activities. As a Community Carer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of our clients by providing support, companionship, and personal care tailored to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalised care to clients in their own homes.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
- Support clients with daily activities, including meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
- Accompany clients to appointments and social outings, ensuring they remain engaged with their community.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health, behavior, and needs to the management team.
- Maintain respectful and effective communication with clients, their families, and team members.
Requirements:
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license. This role requires travel within the Maidstone, Kent area to visit clients.
- Residency in or around Maidstone, Kent, to ensure timely and efficient care delivery to our clients.
- Demonstrated empathy and patience, with a strong desire to support others and make a difference in their lives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
- No sponsorship is offered for this position; candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
- Previous experience in care is highly regarded, but not essential. Comprehensive training will be provided to all new hires.
