Location: Scotland: Remote Hybrid

Salary: £31,380 - 43,350 + Bonus | Great Holiday & Additional Benefits

As a Health and Safety Advisor specialising in Construction and Contracting, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of contractors' activities across various construction and maintenance services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and support to internal teams responsible for appointing and managing contractors, ensuring compliance with H&S responsibilities.
• Scrutinize the activities of contractor H&S teams to ensure adherence to H&S standards.
• Report to the H&S Team Leader (Construction and Contracting) on compliance and any areas for improvement.
• Travel regularly throughout the designated area to conduct site inspections, audits, and meetings.

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills are essential for effectively liaising with stakeholders and working remotely.
• Proficiency in computer packages and willingness to learn technical aspects of the role.
• Prior experience in incident investigations, H&S procedure development, and project management.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification required.
• Ability to engage and influence key stakeholders to achieve positive safety outcomes.
• : Familiarity with construction and maintenance operations, especially in areas such as Working at Height, Confined Spaces, and safety regulations, is advantageous.
• Comfortable working autonomously and adapting to various geographical locations and working environments.
