Catch 22 are working with a private property developer who are looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator to manage and maintain Safety Compliance on their large residential estate in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
The successful applicant will have some experience working with health and safety documents, be a strong communicator and knowledge of commercial properties.
Details of the role
- Manage and coordinate building safety related information, review and form the safety records.
- Responsibility for the Building Safety regime and Fire Safety supporting the Fire Safety team.
- Carry out research and consult relevant guidance.
- Undertake Administrative tasks including drafting reports, data management & continuous CPD.
- Procure, coordinate and manage all Contractors onsite dealing with H&S Requirements.
- Any other duties are required by the role.
The ideal candidate
- 3+ years' previous experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience with Facilities Management or property - e.g., housing, building maintenance, asset management, compliance, or Health & Safety.
- Possess key fire & Safety understanding with a willingness to further develop their knowledge.
- Strong data management and interpersonal skills
- Seek support from colleagues when required
- IOSH or NEBOSH Qualified
In return our client is offering a salary around GBP35,000 per annum plus other benefits.
