More about your new Chester site
You will be based at our Chester location (which is 1 of 5 sites Meadow operates), which is home to our Milk, Fats and Plant-based divisions, as well as Meadow Head Office, the Chester site is located in the heart of the UK milk pool, one of the best dairy regions in the world.
Established over 30 years ago, the 11-acre site runs 24/7, 365 days a year, supplying many of the best brands across Europe and the UK.
It houses the UK’s largest milk balancing facilities, including two state-of-the-art RO plants, a butter plant and an AMF plant, as well as a fully segregated plant-based production unit.
As this role comes without direct reports, your impact will be through guiding the site on EHS system compliance, ISO standards (ISO14001/45001/MCerts), and leading by example in production areas. You'll act as a catalyst for change, not just ensuring compliance but actively enhancing our safety ethos through coaching, system development, and targeted EHS training.
Are you our next Health & Safety Manager / HSE Manager
Do you possess a background in FMCG and are eager to progress in this position. In this role, you will have the chance to influence and enhance the HSE culture within a company dedicated to continuous improvement. As you will be joining a food manufacturing company, a working knowledge and experience of ISO 45001/14001 management system standards, compliance, and auditing techniques will be needed.
