Ganymede are working exclusively with an expanding Rail Contractor, looking to grow their Health and Safety team in their Leeds office.
The organisation provides Design and Build Project solutions to multiple depot clients nationwide, solutions provided include Civil Engineering, Construction, M&E, E&P, Track, S&C and Specialist Plant Works. Therefore, keen to for an experienced HSQE professional from the Rail sector to join their team!
About you
You will be responsible for taking the Lead on all HSQE aspects concerning the Rail business. You will be the person everyone will go to for advice and guidance concerning all H&S aspects for the organisation, while also working closely with Network Rail to ensure the organisation also adheres to their HSQE policies, standards, procedures, and licenses.
You will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Management Systems and be key in maintaining the standards across the project. You will be responsible for investigating incidents onsite. You will also have the opportunity to provide your Health and Safety expertise when tendering for further works in the future.
The Requirements
As well as being self-motivated with a pro-active approach and have experience of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines within the Rail sector, it is also required that you have the following;
* NEBOSH Certification.
* Proven experience in HSQE management, preferably in the railway or transportation industry, with a focus on rail/depot projects and operations.
* In-depth knowledge of HSQE regulations, standards, and best practices.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Renumeration
Salary up to �60k + �5k car allowance, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, Company Pension Scheme
