As the Health and Safety Site Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all personnel on our motorways scheme. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, implementing safety protocols, and supporting the overall safety compliance efforts on the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update health and safety documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with site management to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide administrative support to the Health and Safety Manager and assist in the development of safety initiatives.
- Coordinate and facilitate safety training sessions for on-site personnel.
- Monitor and report on safety performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a health and safety administrative role, preferably within the construction or motorways sector.
- Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety certification is desirable.
