To assist the registered nurses in the organisation of nursing activities and in the smooth running on the ward. To participate as a member of the team supporting patients at the end of their lives.
You will be joining an enthusiastic, supportive, and friendly team. You will receive support and development through in-service training, regular appraisals, a personal development plan and clinical supervision.
You will participate in a 7 day operational service, which will include nights, weekends and bank holidays.

- Implement care for patients as defined by the individualised care plan.
- Provide a high standard of direct care for patients in line with the ward philosophy.
- To communicate verbally and in writing, care given and observations of patients conditions under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- To assist and encourage patients with their nutritional needs, physical comfort, personal hygiene and appearance.
- The post holder will support care for patients with life threating illness with complex needs, also for their families and carers.
