Salary Are you an enthusiastic Healthcare Support Worker looking for a new challenge? Would you like to work as part of a dedicated team on a busy 26 bedded Trauma Ward, based in Llandough hospital.
Patients on this ward are cared for in both the pre and post-operative phase of their journey. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team on a mixed trauma ward, caring for casualties with many different types of orthopaedic trauma injuries that have been sustained in varying ways, from simple slips to major incidents.

Health care Support Workers are essential and valuable members of the multidisciplinary team supporting the Qualified Nurses and Medical staff in providing holistic care to patients . We welcome applications from those candidates who have had previous caring experience or those who have always wanted to work in healthcare equally.
If you aspire to be a qualified nurse then this is an opportunity for you to understand the important role that Health care Support Workers undertake in caring for patients. If this is the case , we can provide support, experience and guidance on your journey to become a registered nurse. Applicants must possess good communication skills, have a pleasant personality and be committed to patient care.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full education, and training will be provided.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
