The Role:
Full time position to join a growing team modernising and improving the council’s district heating service
This important role in our Housing Department will support the establishment and optimisation of the council’s new Heat Metering assets and services to ensure compliance, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
The successful applicant will support all aspects of our new build and retrofit heat meters including developing and adopting new policies and processes, compliance, procurement, contractor management, quality assurance, data flows, data protection and customer communications.

About You:
-To be up to the challenge, you’ll need to develop a sound grasp of Heat Metering technology and regulation, within the broader context of housing legislation and services. You will have proven experience of delivering excellent customer services, especially within a housing context.
-You will be positive and self-motivated and have a proven track record of problem solving to deliver successful outcomes. You will need to be a strong communicator and have a can-do attitude.
-You may be required to work outside of normal office hours from time to time, attending resident and council meetings. Strong IT proficiency will be essential.

-36 hours Monday – Friday, Full time
-This is a x1 permanent position.
