We have an exciting opportunity to work at a prestigious manufacturing site in Kettering. The role will be based on a Helpdesk where calls are handled on behalf of a building maintenance company who help keep the site functioning properly. You will be based in nice modern offices with a friendly, close nit team who will be there to offer full training and ongoing support.

• 8am - 4:30pm

The role will involve

• receiving calls, emails or walk ins from members of the Manufacturing business.
• They will be calling or dropping in to mention problems they are having on site.
• The problems might involve the buildings electrics, plumbing, heating or cooling for example.
• Your role will be to accurately log the issues onto the companies CAFM system (online booking system). Once logged, you will choose which engineer is most suited to carry out the work, and you will assign the work to them.
• Once completed, you will log the work onto the CAFM system and mark as completed. If the work can not be completed by the team on site, you will liaise with a local approved subcontractor to help get the work completed.

You will need to have a good understanding of IT systems such as databases and email and must be confident responding to phone calls and liaising with engineers on site. You may have worked on a customer service helpdesk in the past or on a service desk. Good administration skills would be advantageous, but the bulk of the work will be using an online CAFM system. Previous CAFM experience is not essential. The person that is currently working in the role will be available to help with training, support and will shadow you until you feel comfortable to carry out the role alone
