We recruit temporary and permanent staff across the East Mids, West Mids and Wales for the catering and driving industries. We are currently seeking a Depot Manager to work a full time, permanent contract for our prestigious client based in Lutterworth.

Based in Lutterworth.
This position is for an experienced manager within the automotive sector.
Salary c.£55k-£60k per annum (OTE up to £80k) + bonus + company car + excellent benefits and perks.
The role (in a nut shell):
• Branch Manager or Depot Manager to be office based in Lutterworth
• You’ll be responsible for all management of staff and the profitability of the branch
• You will be reviewing customer pricing policies
• You shall monitor the inventory of branch parts stock
• You’ll mentor and develop your team
• You’ll be responsible for all staff and visitors adhering to health & safety regulations
• You’ll take care of customer complaints and ensure both parties are in agreement with solution
Notes about the branch:
• Has immaculate working conditions to include shower rooms and bathrooms
• Are consistently performing ahead of budget
• Is a main dealership located on a customer site and open 24/7
• Has 4 bays onsite for HGV Technicians / Mechanics to work out of
• There are 3 shifts and c.20 staff running the depot currently
• Offers a 24hr breakdown and recovery. Truck, trailer, bus and coach maintenance. Accident repairs. Trailer parts. New, recycled and reconditioned parts
• Are a DVSA authorised testing facility for MOT
• This is a highly secure site
• The Parts Manager has worked for this Depot for over 20 years
• The Service Advisor has worked for this Depot for over 16.5 years
• The Regional General Manager has worked for the company for almost 20 years
The candidate:
• Must be an excellent communicator with effective interpersonal skills
• Will have excellent computer skills and be able to use all Microsoft applications
• Shall possess working knowledge Autoline / ADP / Kerridge dealership systems
• Ought to be flexible with their approach business requirements
• May come from a fleet management background
• Could be an experienced Workshop Manager from a commercial dealership background
• Would have a steady career history with access to recent references
• Can demonstrate thorough understanding of company processes and systems
• Should be a team player with excellent motivational skills
