HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 - Bridgwater

We are currently recruiting for full time HGV Class 1 drivers for permanent roles in our depot in Bridgwater. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores, up to 15 drops per day with Tail lift and cages.

Immediate starts for successful candidates and a permanent fulltime contract.

Shifts available

• Saturday to Tuesday start 15:00
• Tuesday to Friday start 15:00
• Friday to Monday start 15:00
• Saturday to Tuesday start 03:00

Day pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £15.05 (overtime after 47.5hrs £16.93)
• Saturday £16.93
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £22.58

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £17.20 (overtime after 47.5hrs £19.35)
• Saturday £19.35
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £25.80

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

What we are looking for:

• In date DIGI and CPC card
• Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
• Willing to work weekends.
• Motivated and open to learn new skills.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.

Your role:

• Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicles checks.
• Refuelling vehicles.
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
