Hgv Mechanic

Bela Recruitmentis recruiting a HGV Mechanicin Maghera - Derry/Londonderry / Tyrone / Antrim area Northern Ireland.

The Company
Servicing only the company owned HGV's, some smaller sized vehicles and some specialist equipment.
You will be working in a team with 4 other mechanics.

Responsibilities
· Servicing a range of HGV's daily to ensure all vehicles are road worthy and safe.
· Prepare vehicles for MOT, provide weekly and annual maintenance checks.
· Following all company guidelines to ensure vehicles remain road legal & compliant at all times.
· Track and record all works carried out, including ordering of parts, spares and damage.
· Follow all H&S rules and support other mechanics daily.
· Support breakdowns, road calls, vehicle recovery as required.

Requirements
Min of 1 years experience within a HGV / Commercial Vehicle / Plant or Machinery Workshop servicing.
Good communication and team player skills.
You must be mechanically skilled, fit and able to service HGV’s and solve technical issues.
*May also suit someone with previous experience servicing in the Agri or Quarrying sector*.

Rewards
£35,000 - £40,000 depending on skills and experience.
