GSL Education Leicester are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Primary) to join a vibrant school located in the Melton Mowbray. This role is ideal for experienced HLTAs who are passionate about contributing to the holistic development of students and are looking for an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting Teaching and Learning: Provide high-level support in the classroom, delivering learning activities to individuals, groups, and the whole class under the direction of the classroom teacher.
Planning and Preparation: Assist in planning learning activities and preparing resources, contributing to creating an engaging and effective learning environment.
Assessment and Feedback: Participate in the evaluation of students’ progress, providing feedback to teachers and students alike, helping to tailor future teaching approaches.
Classroom Management: Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a constructive environment for learning.
Additional Support: Offer extra assistance to students with special educational needs (SEN), helping them to access the curriculum fully.Requirements:
HLTA Status: Must have achieved HLTA status or equivalent qualification relevant to the role.
Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within UK schools.
Strong Classroom Management Skills: Effective strategies for managing a positive learning environment.
Flexibility and Creativity: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and develop creative approaches to teaching and learning.
