Higher Level Teaching Assistant Jobs
Tick Education are currently seeking Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join us working in Luton primary schools, either leading classes in teachers absences or working 1-1, or as a general TA in classes with SEN/SEND needs.
Many of our primary schools will use Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs)to cover classes, as well as relying on them to assist teachers in particular classrooms / year groups. What we would require from you as a candidate:
• To have HLTA qualification and have experience in the classroom
• Be able to lead primary year classes, in teacher absences
• Have excellent table manor, maintaining children’s attention and keeping their behaviour in line with the schools policy
• Be wanting to make a difference to children’s education and lives overall
• To be punctual, polite and well mannered to all staff and pupils in any school you work in
Desirable qualities:
• Experience working in different areas of Key stage 1 & 2
• Be a driver and have your own vehicle – this is to enable access to the variety of schools around Luton and surrounding areas
• Be able to work at short notice
• To have 3-5 days availability
