We are currently working to recruit a Care Manager for our service based in Croydon .
As the Care Manager, you will need to possess leadership qualities that engage and motivate your team of Care Assistants and Care Coordinators. You will set clear expectations to ensure a high standard of care is delivered across every area of the business.
You will be proactive, self-motivated, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while focussing on business growth and building a strong brand reputation. You will also have great people skills and have experience in establishing trust and building relationships with clients, families, external stakeholders, and and colleagues. Key responsibilities:
• Manage a fully integrated 7 day a week homecare service.
• Rostering and Ensure that Regulatory Requirements are met
• To ensure a high level of records are imported and held on HCR for both Care Workers and Service Users.
• To manage and monitor the branch’s rostering requirements of its care team
• To ensure all aspects of health and safety requirements are adhered to as specified within the Health and Safety Policy and Procedure and in accordance with training given.
• Lead, coach and develop the team of Care Assistants and Coordinators to deliver the highest standards of care and customer service to ensure client retention.
• Increase retention by communicating and engaging with care staff.
• Manage consistent customer relationships.
• Deliver budgeted revenue and margin targets ensuring a cost-effective delivery of service.
• Drive profitable growth and development of the business.
• Working with multi-disciplinary teams and professional bodies to ensure
• Manage referrals from commissioners and local authority.
• Ensure full capacity is utilised.
• We are looking for:
• An NVQ in Health and Social Care Management (Level 5/Level 4 RMA)
• Strong experience of managing service provision in the care sector, ideally within a domiciliary and/or care agency
• A driver
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Skills in assessment and care planning with a good understanding of different conditions in order to deal with more complex care.
• Great organisational skills
• Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulations
• Understanding of financial management
