Hire Manager for Film, TV and Commercial Equipment
Location: Manchester
We are a dynamic and well respected equipment hire firm specialising in providing high quality cameras, lenses, lighting and grip. Our Manchester office is looking for a Manager who can fit in with our ethos, can manage a small, dedicated team and ensure our clients get the best possible service and kit.
The Role
As the Manager you will play a crucial role delivering outstanding service to our clients, managing the small team and ensuring smooth running of the day to day operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive industry experience, possessing both technical and practical knowledge and be able to establish and cultivate client relationships..
Core Responsibilities
Client Relationships
•Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
•Understand clients needs and provide expert advice based on that understanding.
•Recognise new opportunities.
Team Leadership
•Inspire a small team.
•Foster a positive, inclusive and collaborative work environment.
•Work as part of the management team alongside Managers from the other offices.
Operational Management
•Working with out in-house rental software and existing operational procedures but also striving to optimise and improve where you see potential.
Equipment Knowledge
•Demonstrate a deep understanding of cameras, lenses, lighting, grip and other related equipment to guide both staff and clients.
•Demonstrate enthusiasm for growing your knowledge and keeping up to date with the latest advances and changes in the industry and kit.
•Oversee equipment inspections, maintenance and repairs to the highest standards.
Training and Development
Recognise developmental requirements and needs and ensure staff are kept up to date with new equipment, industry trends and customer service.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years in the Film and TV Equipment Industry..
Proven leadership experience in a fast paced environment.
Strong organisational skills and an ability to manage your own time effectively.
